There will also be a book signing by the author of the acclaimed new novel, Tomas and the Gypsy Violin.

Come meet your Roma neighbours, and party for this wonderful celebration of Dignity and Pride for 2016.

April 8th, 2015, is International Romani Day which will be commemorated in many cities across Canada. This day is a chance to celebrate the richness and diversity of Romani cultures. It is also a chance to raise awareness of human rights atrocities, stereotypes, racism, and cultural scapegoating that have led to centuries of discrimination, persecution, and genocide against Romani people around the world.
